The experience begins with a tram ride to the back of the farm. Yes, there were many families with small children, but also some couples. But since we visited the Ulysses S Grant historic site (highly recommend) and realized that the farm was literally a walk next door, we went to check it out. While planning our St Louis trip I was very unsure if this was something for a couple without children to do based on the description.
